Angel Clarens, A.I.A.

Mr. Angel Clarens has been involved in private architectural and urban planning practice since 1980. Among his former clients are the Wilmington Medical Center; the National Portrait Gallery; the Central Bank of Bolivia; Walter Reed Army Medical Center; the Inter-American Development Bank; Retail/Commercial Centers; the District of Columbia Government; Deak International; the Embassy of France, as well as numerous multifamily and single family residential projects in Washington, DC.

Angel also serves as Associate Professor of Architecture, Howard University, and served for over a decade as Chairman of the Board of Zoning Adjustment in Washington, D.C. He is a registered architect in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Angel has been a principal in Font International Corp. since 1997.

Mr. Clarens completed graduate studies in Design and Urban Planning at L'Ecole Speciale D'Architecture, Paris, France 1969 -1970, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture, The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., 1968.
